Come learn the art of stained glass at Spiral Arts Studio. For this class I will explain the process of making stained glass art from beginning to end. No prior experience needed – just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! I will have the stained glass pieces all Precut and ground and copper taped. You will receive your Stained Glass Ornament pieces and I will teach you to assemble/solder your very own Stained Glass work of art. They will all be unique, as you make them what you want them to be. Class is taught by artist Owner of DAB Stained Glass LLC, Dawn Bailey, with over 26 years’ experience in the art. Classes at Spiral Arts will be kept to 8 or less to be sure everyone gets some good hands on 1 on 1 attention. I will Demo every step along the way and help as much or as little as you would like me to. You complete your piece of art in 1 class! Sign up now! These classes usually run 1.5 to 2 hours. Two hours of spinning mud with no strings attached, but no Ghosting allowed ;) Perfect for a friends' night out, date nights, or simply to see if this is something you would really like to delve into and continue to practice. This workshop will review beginner glazing techniques and teach you how to get beautiful, consistent glaze results. What You Will Learn: - Proper glaze application techniques - Layering multiple glazes - Using runny glazes - Common glaze flaws Students are required to bring a minimum of 5 bisque pieces to class. It is strongly recommended to prepare 5-10 bisqued, standing test tiles as class supply will be limited.
