This workshop will review beginner glazing techniques and teach you how to get beautiful, consistent glaze results. What You Will Learn: - Proper glaze application techniques - Layering multiple glazes - Using runny glazes - Common glaze flaws Students are required to bring a minimum of 5 bisque pieces to class. It is strongly recommended to prepare 5-10 bisqued, standing test tiles as class supply will be limited. This six week course will focus on refining wheel throwing skills, exploring advances techniques and complex forms. Students must be able to consistently center clay and throw cylinders in order to take this course. This class also prepares you to work independently in the studio. 6 class sessions of 2 hours each The week of Sunday November 9th there will be no class scheduled.
